I’ve clocked up nearly twenty years experience in providing top quality publicity campaigns within the book publishing and lifestyle sectors. As former Head of Publicity at the Octopus Publishing Group, I devised and created highly successful campaigns for Terence Conran, Orla Kiely, David Thompson, Valentine Warner, Diana Henry, LEON, Allegra McEvedy, Pitt Cue Co., The Ginger Pig, Jancis Robinson amongst many others.

Early on in my career at Phaidon Press, I was lucky to work with artists and photographers such as Martin Parr, Gillian Wearing, Marlene Dumas, Mario Testino, Magnum and many more.

Since setting up Smith & Baxter I’ve undertaken a myriad of exciting projects including the London TOAST festival; the launch of Cereal Magazine; the Feed Your Mind food festival at King’s College London; the book publisher Hoxton Mini Press; Duncan Baird and Nourish book publishers; and in-house freelance work for Sauce Communications working on clients such as Salt Yard and the launch of their acclaimed restaurant Ember Yard.

Recently back at Phaidon, temporarily looking after their Head of Publicity role, I worked with authors such as Rene Redzepi, Ferran Adrià, Massimo Bottura and the campaign for the latest edition of Where Chefs Eat.
