Through a narrative-led, visual journey, Lani Kingston and David Post have joined together with Hoxton Mini Press to tell the story of coffee: about the people, the places and the history of coffee in London. They take you to small-batch roasteries, Scandinavian-style coffee houses, Italian cafes passed down through generations and much beyond, capturing the engaging stories – both old and new – of London’s coffee scene. Historic rituals, artisan techniques and personal accounts are uncovered and told through compelling narratives and beautiful photography.

Lani Kingston’s last book How to Make Coffee was an international best-seller. She writes extensively about food and drink for international travel publications. David Post is a Canadian photographer who specialises in street photography. He now calls London his home.

London Coffee is a fascinating snapshot of coffee in one of the most dynamic cities in the world.
