Freddy Bird on Sunday Brunch
Our very own Freddy Bird, head chef at the Bristol Lido, was a guest on this week’s Sunday Brunch! True to form, Freddy cooked up a storm with his flavourful fish stew and aioli while speaking to hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer. “Everything we do [at the Lido] is about sharing” Freddy said, “I love the idea of sitting down and everyone tucking in and sharing a dish.”
He ran through his career at the Lido, debated the merits of Hake with Tim, all whilst cooking a delicious family-style dish. The Bristol chef joined by the likes of Ed Balls, Maya Jama and Rudimental to discuss the unique location and Spanish flair that have made the Bristol Lido one of the city’s most popular food spots.
