An unashamedly opinionated guide to the best pubs that London has to offer.
London’s pubs are reopening – come April 12th we will be able to venture into a pub garden again, sip on a pint and rejoice at what special places our local boozers are.
This pithy, pint-sized guide has been specially curated to help you discover some of the most welcoming drinking spots this city has to offer. Within these pages you’ll find the best pub gardens; proper real ales and craft brews; dog friendly places with cosy corners; and the pubs with the most exciting food offerings.
Pubs urgently need us for their survival and we hope this guide highlights some true gems, particularly the independent free houses and small family businesses. Illustrated with original photography and compelling text by an expert beer writer, this book provides exactly what the summer ahead calls for: the joy of a bloody good pub.
Part of a growing series of opinionated pocket guides to London for people who don’t want more information, they want the right information.
