Freddy Bird is Chef Patron of the critically acclaimed littlefrench in Westbury Village, Bristol. Freddy is considered one of Bristol’s most popular and established chefs. Hetrained at Ballymaloe in Ireland before embarking on his career in London; first working at 2 Michelin star restaurant The Square with Philip Howard and then for several years at the award-winning Moro with Sam & Sam Clark. He returned to Bristol as Head Chef of the Bristol Lido and its sister restaurant the Thame Lido. Freddy has appeared on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen with Matt Tebbutt, Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch; the Hairy Bikers Comfort food series and BBC’s Remarkable Places to Eat which spotlighted littlefrench in their Bristol special.
